Advertising


In this unit we will have the opportunity to research an aspect of advertising. We will gain understanding of the visual and verbal techniques advertisements use, and the significance and impact of these.


This is assessed according to an English Achievement Standard, AS90381 (English 2.8): Investigate a language or literature topic and present information in written form . It is worth 3 Credits, which can count towards either the reading or writing credits required for University Entrance.

The final report is due on the 28th of August.


The report is assessed against the following criteria:

Achievement

Present accurate information and draw conclusions.

Achievement with Merit

Propose research question(s) and selectrelevant information from arange of referencedresources.
Present and interpret accurate information coherently, drawing conclusions.
